About Czech Inspiration
Czech Inspiration was founded as a voluntary association of six Czech towns (Český Krumlov, Hradec Králové, Kutná Hora, Litomyšl, Polička, Telč) on the 5th of July 1995.
The main aim of this subject is to support the development of tourism, focused on the cultural program of the associated towns.
Český Krumlov became the seat of the association, in the very same year the registration of the trade-mark “Česká inspirace – Czech Inspiration” took place and first official promo materials were released.
The seat of the association changed a year after and moved to the town Hradec Králové. Since 1998 Czech Inspiration has been cooperating with ČEDOK, a. s., a nation-wide travel agency, and since the same year a website of the association was operated.
In 1999 a new member came to the association – the town Třeboň. More changes in the structure of Czech Inspiration came two years later, when “seven of the most beautiful Czech towns” became eight due to Jindřichův Hradec.
In 2005 came last change, Český Krumlov decided to leave the association and was replaced by the town Cheb. Ever since the structure Czech Inspiration stayed the same.
In 2010 came the decision about extensive shakeout in the association and therefore a brand new website was opened and a marketing strategy is being prepared for the future activities of Czech Inspiration.
Czech Inspiration releases own prospect in three languages (Czech, English and German). The association also regularly takes part in domestic and international Tourism Fairs and Exhibitions. With systematic work in the sphere of promotion Czech Inspiration supports the development of foreign and domestic tourism in the regions of Czech Republic.
“Towns full of life” became the motto of the new Czech Inspiration´s website and it perfectly expresses the aim of the association. Czech Inspiration is trying not only to inspire you to visit the “stone houses”, but presents you the wide offer of cultural programs of these beautiful places. Cultural events put the finishing touch to the genius loci of the particular town.
We in Czech Inspiration want to show the tourist that to explore a Czech town can be fun for everybody, kids, gourmets or sportsmen included.
There´s no space for boredom in our lively towns, they open their gates to all. For the families with kids we have tips for exiting trips and special programs, where both young and old will find their thing. We proclaim, that there are many ways how to enjoy a town, we mean that you should explore our town with all senses. For the gourmets there are unique specialties, brand new experiences in food and drink. And we want to help the sportsmen to enjoy the towns and not to lose their pace.
Every visitor is different, though we believe that in our towns there is the right inspiration for each and every one!
